廣航院業務遍布國內外，承接了剛果（布）、馬來西亞、柬埔寨、廣東、海南、廣西、福建、浙江、云南、湖北、江蘇、遼寧等國家、省、區的工程勘察、設計、咨詢、測量、總承包、監理和檢測等項目共計1000多個，出色完成了一批大型勘察設計項目和工程施工總承包項目，其中包括陽江保豐碼頭有限公司10萬噸級公用散貨泊位設計、廣西欽州7萬噸煤碼頭、東莞市虎門港麻涌港區四個5萬噸級散雜貨碼頭設計、廣州港沙仔島多用途滾裝碼頭工程設計、南海西部油田海南碼頭項目一期工程勘察設計、陽江港海陵灣港區19#泊位工程設計、南京港西壩港區西壩作業區五期工程設計、蒼南縣江南海涂圍墾區吹填及軟基處理二期工程設計施工總承包、廣東南粵物流儲運中心項目工程的施工總承包、臺州市金屬資源再生產業基地回填工程總承包項目等。建院以來，多項參建工程榮獲國家、部（?。┘墐炐愎こ炭辈?、設計、咨詢成果獎。

Founded in 1960, Guangdong Province Planning &Design Institute for Water Transportation Co., Ltd(hereinafter referred to as GDPDI) , originally evolved from the Third Survey Team of Water Transport Planning &Design Institute attached to MOT (Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China), is the first water transport engineering organization of Guangdong Province and now has developed into a institute integrating survey ,design and consulting.
GDPDI has obtained kinds of qualifications needed ,consisting of Engineering Survey (Class A), Water Transport Engineering Design (Class A), EPC(Engineering Procurement Construction) approved by MOHURD (Ministry of Housing &Urban-rural Development of the People’s Republic of China), Water Transport Engineering Supervision (Class A) approved by MOT, Engineering Consulting (Class A) issued by NDRC(National Development and Reform Commission), construction certificates about Ground &Foundation Engineering and Specialized Engineering in Structure Reinforcement, Water Transport Engineering Structure (Class B), Highway Engineering of Integrated Class B and Metrological Certification issued by competent authorities of MOT. Besides , GDPDI has introduced technical staffs and is also equipped with sophisticated facilities and self-owned management system ,which makes us can be certainly trusted for relative projects at home and abroad in survey ,design, planning ,maintenance &construction of highway or bridge, inspection of highway project, etc.
Agreeably, GDPDI is orientating itself toward not only home but external, covering Congo ,Malaysia, Cambodia ,etc. Domestic and overseas projects proceeding or has been completed by now accumulate over 1,000,among which ,some remarkable ones have gained Outstanding Achievement Award of State or Province and returned GDPDI sustainable development, mainly including 100,000 DWT public bulk-cargo berth design of Baofeng Terminal Co., Ltd , Yangjiang,70,000 DWT coal terminal in Qinzhou , Guangxi ,design of four 50,000 DWT bulk-cargo terminal in Mayong port area of Humen Port, Dongguan, multipurpose roll on/roll off terminal design of Shazai island, survey &design of the 1st phase project of Hainan terminal in south china sea western oil field, No.19 berth design in Hailing bay port area of Yangjiang Port, the 5th phase project design of Xiba operating area in Xiba port area of Nanjing Port, the 2nd phase project EPC about hydraulic reclamation &soft ground treatment in Jiangnan coastal mud flat of Cangnan county, construction EPC of project in Nanyue Logistics &Stocking Center ,Guangdong ,EPC about backfilling in Taizhou Recycling Metal Industry Base, etc.
In 2004, GDPDI achieved “GB/T19001-2000” Litterae Credentiales granted by CNAS( China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment). In 2010,we passed the Quality ,Environment and OHSMS (Occupation Health and Safety Management System) Attestation and are assessed as “ Trustworthy Enterprise Abiding by Contract & Credit” in five consecutive years by SAIC( State Administration for Industry &Commerce of the People’s Republic of China).
